My experience with Hailey Smith, Harpist for the King, was when I asked her to be the feature musician at our Family Fun Day for AuPairCare.  Our theme was Sounds of Music.All the guests were mesmerized by Hailey’s music. It was interesting to watch the group listen and respond to her playing.  The ages were new born to over 70.

One of the earliest decisions that we made throughout our wedding planning was choosing Hailey Smith as our musician for our Ceremony. We wanted something classical, elegant, and beautiful - and it doesn't get better than Hailey and her harp.! Hailey is incredibly professional and organized, and it made that element of our wedding day easy and fun. We were able to meet with Hailey and hear her play different selections as then we chose what we wanted tof each piece of our ceremony. Hailey was helpful as she provided feedback and worked with us to create a listing of music that was appropriate and beautiful for our day. From that meeting, we never had to worry about anything. On our wedding day, Hailey arrived early and was set up before any guests arrived, playing music as our friends and family began to come. Hailey also showed a tremendous amount of flexibility as our wedding day hit a speed bump - one of our shuttles carrying close friends and family broke down with a flat tire - and it delayed the whole process. Hailey beautifully 'played on' throught the delay with a positive additude and a smile. Guests fully enjoyed the impromptu concert! So much of my wedding day seems blurry because of all the emotions - but one thing that I clearly remember is walking down the isle with my dad and hearing Hailey's beautiful harp. She was everything I was hoping whe would be and more. Her harp playing skills AND her personality make her somebody that I will recommend to any person. Guests are still talking about her and so am I.

Hailey Smith, AKA Harpist for the King is an artist who takes newcomers to the harp and never let them go. To be honest I've never heard actual music on the harp, so this one's interesting. I've seen and heard it played in movies, but only for a second or so - never a whole song. "A Thousand Years" was as angelic as those short scenes present. There's something calming about this stringed instrument that's self-explanitory in one full listen. "Canon in D" has a softer approach. I know, it's all soft, but the tone of this one's a bit more somber. Then, a classic done her own way, Hailey transforms "ODE to JOY" on the harp beautifully. Rounding it out is "The Haven of Rest," and this one sparkles with life the whole way through. Check out Hailey Smith if you want a magical, musical time.
